The turk and kurd nomads occured in the provice of Armenia having lost, statehood, made the extremely fall of economic end cultural life, ruined several settlements, destroyed the forests acreages reduced to pastures. Many toponyms were renamed.
DDMASHEN DURING THE 1604's DEPORTATION.
—During the turk-iranian domination of Eastern Armenia and among them the population of Ddmashen overcame mass deportation.
WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE DEPORTATION?
—Shah Abbas purposed to populate several economically backward regions by the Armenian craftsmen aand agriculturists at the same time of the depopulatingthe Armenian territores, and to deprive the turkish army of the opportunity of talking foods from this region.
DDMASHEN AFTER THE END OF THE RUSSIAN-PERSIAN WAR OF 1828-1829.
—According to the Toorkmenchai Treaty of 1828 the estern Armenia was included into the part of Russia. Ddmashen is one of the villages of Darachichak district of newly formed Armenianregion. In 1849-1917 it was included in the province of Nor-Bayazed of Yerevan province.
In 1920-1930 it was a part of province Nor-Bayazed of Armenian SSR. On the 9th of september 1930 it was included in the part of newly forned administrative region of Hrazdan.
Beginning from 3lst of Decemberof 1935 it passed into the administrative territory of Sevan.
Beginning from the 21lst of September 1991l it is a settelement of independent Armenian Republic, in the Sevan region.
In 1996 on the occasin of dividing the Armenian Republic into 10 regions Ddmashen belong to the administrative territory of Gegarkoonik region.
